Skin Tags
A skin tag is a small growth of skin that is not cancerous, and us usually not harmful.
Causes
Skin tags are caused by the rubbing together of the skin, and are usually found on the armpits, neck, or between the legs. Weight loss or gain can also attribute to the cause of skin tags. Heightened estrogen levels during pregnancy can also form skin tags.
Risk Factors
Anyone can develop a skin tag on any part of the body, but those who are have gained or lost a large amount of weight are more likely to have skin tags.
Symptoms
A small skin colored growth on the skin may be a skin tag. It should not be painful unless snagged on an object.

Treatment
Skin tags may be frozen, burned, or cut off of the skin.
There is no way to prevent a skin tag from forming.
